HAVE FAITH

SPEAK HOPE

LIVE LOVE

We are excited to once again host our Mobile Food Pantry on Friday December 20th! We will begin distributing food around 9 AM. This event is on a first come-first served basis, but we aim to meet the needs of everyone who comes through. Please arrive at the church and join the queue to enter the parking. Volunteers will be on hand to direct traffic around the site.

We are also looking for volunteers to distribute at the event! Whether you are a single individual or a group, we can use your help! If you are able to volunteer, please arrive at the church parking lot by 7 AM to begin setup and sorting.

God Bless you and Merry Christmas from Lexington First UMC!

We offer continued prayers for those who have been affected by Hurricane Helene this past week. The road to recovery will be a long one, but we stand ready to help during these difficult times.

In response, United Methodist Committee on Relief is coordinating with affected annual conferences and supporting their local relief efforts. UMCOR has awarded solidarity grants to the North and South Georgia annual conferences with multiple grants in process for other annual conferences.

Additionally, UMCOR-trained Early Response Teams (ERTs) are coordinating efforts to support the removal of debris, tarping of roofs, and cleaning out of homes in hard-hit areas.

You can help by donating here, and by using this link, you can be sure 100% of your donation will go towards this advance for United States Disaster Response and Recovery.

We pray for comfort for those who face unimaginable loss. That they may see God in the work of their neighbors, and feel the peace of Christ as they begin the journey to recovery.
